The cafe is great, and the technology and men’s clothes departments are fairly generous which is good when the wife’s in the massive shoe department!

Staff are always helpful, and if anything does go wrong they will always sort it out for you.

I usually buy from here due to long warranties and price matching

With no comparable rival in Peterborough, John Lewis is easily the jewel in the crown for the Queensgate shopping centre.

Spread over three floors, John Lewis is a typical department store mecca for retail therapy, covering everything from clothing to jewellery and toys to electricals and everything in between. It even has a fragrance section where you have to run the gauntlet of conflicting (and choking) scents.

John Lewis has a lot to offer. You can always find some really good quality items and ive heard the delivery sevice is very reaiable too. Sometimes i find regular every day item can be quite a bit more expensive than other stores. However they do have very good sales on a few times a year.

We bought a dishwasher from John Lewis. The price seemed much lower than other websites. There was also the option for them to take away the old one for a small extra fee. There were lots of delivery options and I could have had the item delivered within about 2 days, although I chose a specific day and time (morning delivery between 7am and 2pm) to suit me.

When delivered, the people were very pleasant and efficient and took away the old appliance before leaving the new one in the kitchen.

The item was very well packaged and there was no damage, which has happened when buying from other places in the past.

Very pleased and would highly recommend to others based on this experience.

Well laid out store in excellent location, convenient for good public transport (busses and trains) and car parks. Good quality products and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Large store located in queensgate spread oover four floors. The prices on some things are quite expensive compared to other places. but then in other areas they are priced the same. I believe it is the largest store in the Queensgate shoppping centre. they sell a vast range of products from out door play houses to kitchen cookers and and haberdashery.
The level of customer service is always very high in the store and the store is always immacualtly clean and tidy.

John Lewis in Peterborough is situated in the queensgate shopping centre and takes over several floors all accessible via escalators. They stock a huge range of high quality items, such as adult and children’s clothing, household items, electrical items, gifts’, perfumes and home furnishings. I really cannot fault this store for layout or customer service as I have never had a bad experience when visiting this store. The returns policy is excellent. I like the fact that in the electrical department I can be assured of knowledgeable advice which is sadly missing in many electrical stores these days. When recently looking to purchase a computer the staff could not have been more helpful.

John Lewis is the best stocked department store in Peterborough (closely followed by the nearby Westgate). It has a pleasant and modern feel which makes shopping relaxed. From electricals, clothes, jewellery, cookware to furniture, toys and housewares, there is something for everyone. They are percieved as being high cost, but in fact many items are the same price as at other stores. Plus they offer their own high quality brand of products at good prices, bearing in mind the high quality. They also offer free 5 year guarantees on TV and are “Never knowingly undersold” meaning their prices are competitive.
Located in the Queensgate shopping mall, this is the most obvious place to park, but most of the Peterborough city centre car parks would be a sub 10 minute walk. This particular branch also offers a restauarant where coffee or a meal can be taken.

The cafe is lovley with fresh good food on offer at a reasonable price, plus you get a view of the shopping centre from the cafe to!

John Lewis is a big department store in the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough. The staff are friendly, well trained in their department and very helpful. The range of products on offer is impressive and they will always offer to price match (or better) if you find the same product cheaper anywhere else. Every department is always very well laid out and presented with clear pricing and product information where needed. I also highly reccommend the restaurant/cafe at John Lewis. I regularly go there when shopping and have purchased both meals and snacks and I have always found the food and drinks to be of a high standard, they are well are priced and good quality. The cafe balcony looks out over the rest of the shopping centre so it is ideal for people watching as you have a relaxing coffee. The only problem I have had in the cafe is that it is very popular and therefore finding a seat at peak times can be difficult.

Great store in the centre of Queensgate shopping centre. The electrical department is highly recommended, helpful staff and will usually price match other stores.
The restaurant is very nice and would say it is the best place to eat in the centre.

John Lewis is by far the classist shop in queensgate. Everythign is slightly more expensive than anywhere else but its worht it for the high quality of service the gurantees you get and the quality the product you get. The cafe is also a very nice palce to have a quick mocha.

Excellent - located in Queensgate. John Lewis is the best department store with staff that can actually advise on products. Warranties are always honoured and although sometimes a little pricey they do 'price - match’ . Beautiful christmas displays and toys that kids can try before you buy. I dont like the cafe much so usually avoid it. Its pricey and too busy. Excellent toilet facilities.

Great store….if a bit expensive at times. If you’re looking for something with quality, and great customer service then look no further. If it doesn’t have what you’re after there are plenty of stores close by to choose from. THey have everything from clothes, shoes, electricals, appliances, furniture, lighting, carpets, towels, crockery, cutlery, glasswear, sports equipment, toys, gardening and probably a huge amount more that I’ve forgotten. Everything is well sign posted so its always easy to find the right section you need. However, if you are having trouble the staff are always happy to help. There are escalators to all floors, but lifts also adn they’re never over subscribed.

John Lewis in Peterborough is a Very nice large store. It stocks a huge range of products. As with all John Lewis stores it can be quiet expensive for some items, however the quality of the goods is excellent. There is ample car parking in the centre car park. The staff are Very friendly and helpful and seem to have a good knowledge of their products. There are in store customer toilets which are very clean and a very good size. Large TV and Audio department which gives you the chance to actually view the products properly before you buy.

Really good sized store. Staff are friendly and helpful with finding things you need. Very good range of products and excellent customer service if you need to return or exchange something. Cafe/restaurant serves lovely food and drinks and is always clean. Does fill up at busy times.

Products are generally higher range than some other companies offer but they are a good price for their quality

John Lewis is located in Queensgate, Peterorough City Centre.

This shop is gigantic and has 3 floors worth of products so if you can’t find what you are looking for in this shop there must be something wrong! From sports to lingerine the place has it all!

It is very neatly laid out and the staff are polite and helpful. They also do gift lists for weddings etc and is a good place to do this if you want to give people ideas on what you want for it.

It can be expensive but for the waranty they offer on many of their products it is well worth it.

I may be slightly biased with my review as I used to work here! Although I’ll try my hardest not to be.

The store itself is the only department store in Queensgate (with another located just outside the centre). It has several departments including kitchenware, toys, sports, menswear, womenswear, jewellery, habidashery and so on. Customer service is something they pride and being a customer there, there is always someone to ask and they tend to have a good knowledge on the products they are selling.

Perhaps some of the items are overpriced, but this becomes irrelevent with their “never knowingly undersold” slogan which means you can buy the item from John Lewis for the same price as a store that is selling it cheaper.

huge store,occupies half the shopping centre and does have anything you can think of.a wide selection of clothes,furniture,toys,health and beauty,cafe,toilets.the lifts come in handy and the staff is there to help with any questions.will choose this one over other stores as it has everything I need and more.was reccomended to me by friends as being great.

I can’t fault John Lewis. It sells pretty much everything. It has 2 cafes and excellant toilet facilities. The parent room is very very pleasant but is on the top floor! It could do with more lifts. The staff are helpful and they have people near the escalators if you have any questions.
