Ethel Austin is a great shop for picking up all sorts of bargains! Although this particular branch isn’t well-located - it is in the back streets behind South shields’ main shopping street (King street), there always seem to be people in it.
It is great for picking up cheap, durable school uniforms, as well as costume jewellry and winter woolies. I find their clothes to be quite good quality when you consider how cheap they are. They also sell some branded lingerie at marked down prices and often have a wide variety of sizes available.
EA is definitely worth having a look around if you’re in town.
