Tesco Stores

It is a large tesco store. There isn’t much more to say about it other than it is annoyingly convenient if you commute along the A96 and has a petrol station.

This has to be one of the biggest Tesco stores I’ve been in and similar in size to the one in Springburn, Glasgow. Huge variety of products on offer though some of the prices were more than what I would have expected. Apart from that there seems to be a real lack of staff with queues at checkouts frequently. Customer service here is much the same - seems to be the thing with Tesco that there are no assistants around when you need one. There is also an instore restaurant but after my previous experiences with Tesco even in the 24 hour stores, I expected this to be shut when I went in after 6pm so I didn’t even check it out.

A really large store with lots of selection of cheeses, pastries, meats etc. There is a massive selection of clothes and wines on offer. There are large selection of CD’S, Mobile phones, laptops and gadgets. It is located near a cinema, gym and lots of large stores. Overall a great place for bargains.

This is a large Tesco at Inverness Retail Park. It was extended a few years ago. It is the biggest Tesco in the area. There is a large car park which is often very busy. You could spend hours in this Tesco’s as there is so much to choose from. This Tesco’s has the widest selection of food out of all the Tesco’s in the area although this would fit as like I said it is the biggest. It has a big clothing section which sells womens, mens and kids clothing. It also has a jewelery section. There are whole isles devoted to books, cds, dvds, greeting cards, magazines, party ideas, sports equipment, electrical equipment, kitchenwear, bedding and housewear. The store can get very busy as it has a large catchment area. The staff always seem pleasant and friendly.

Based in a large retail park consisting of pet shop, cinema, gym and clothes shops, this particular Tesco branch boasts the highest sales of any supermarket around the Inverness area. It has a large electrical and clothing area, much larger than the other local Tesco, and tends to be able to stock lines that the smaller stores cannot.

Saying that, the customer service lets the store down. Staff are always rushing, reluctant to take you to anything you ask for, and the queues at the checkouts are often horrendous - for that reason, I would suggest avoiding the store on a Saturday.

Still, everything you need under one roof is something you cannot complain about.
