Took my dad here for a birthday treat with a Groupon voucher, and were really impressed. Food was nicely spiced and very, very tasty. Owner was warm and attentive, and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back to this delicious, welcoming restaurant. Thank you for a great evening!!
Just been for dinner. Really nice food. Excellent value. Really good clean place. Owner was really nice. We travelled from sunderland and well worth it.

Top top indian restaurant. Great food and such friendly staff. Went with my wife for first time and we asked for 2 naan breads, but were advised to only order 1 because they are large and then order another later if we needed. Honest staff. Highly recommend this great restaurant

Me and two friends of mine go out once a month for an indian meal. We try various restraunts within a 10 mile radious us of Middlesbrough. We will only go back to somewhere if the food is more than average. Well we have now been three times to Cafe Indigo. The food is good along with the service. On our first visit we where told that the starters where large portions (we normally order two for each of us). This certainly was the case and the main course was the same and tastfull. Give it a try and see what you think. Worth a visit and revisit.

im writing this review for the darlington branch. food is great better than your average run of the mill chicken tikka massala place! i found the dishes to be genuinly regional(havnt had a beef, chick pea curry(kabli gosht)that nice since being in peshawar)the only down side is that the resurant isnt very busy so not much of an atmosphere and the staff could smile a bit more. definatly the best indian resturant in darlington get there before this little gem is gone! oh and 20%off the takeaway service what more do you want :)

Thank you foryour review, we were sad to close the Darlington branch but we felt we should make one restaurant the very best it could be rather than spreading our efforts accross several restaurants. I hope you manage to visit our Stockton branch (you will find we have improved our staffing no end!)
This is an absolutely lovely restaurant with a fantastic feel to it.
Located right on the banks of the Tees in good surroundings.
It is a contempory restaurant with very good service and the food is consistently excellent.
I have never heard a bad report about this place and it is the only one in Stockton I recommend to people.

I was taken here by friends - as I am not a big fan of spicy food I was worried but I loved the place. The staff were attentive and quite happy to go through the menu and recommend dishes to suit me. The service was fast but eventhough we were in on a busy Saturday night we never felt rushed or pushed to hurry our food and be on our way.
I have been told it is authentic Indian food but I am not the best judge of that. I can say it tasted great and looked good and was served hot with only a short delay and quite reasonably priced for a resturant.
You can get an excellent lunchtime deal on food.
My only gripe is parking it only has a small car park so be ready to have to look nearby for a parking space and having to walk over.
