Crestfield Hotel

A small, cheap hotel near King's Cross station. Everything in the hotel is very small, the rooms, the doors, the corridors etc and the rooms have walls thin as paper. But the rooms are clean, fresh towels and bedclothes are provided. We had rooms with ensuite (room with private bathroom) and breakfast included for approx. 70 pounds per room per night, which is really low priced for london. The breakfast wasn't that great, but there are enough possibilites in london to find a snack. I'll recommand this hotel to everybody who is looking for a cheap but clean accommodation, which is perfectly reachable by public transport.

This is another good bet if you are after a budget hotel in the Kings Cross Euston area. I’ve stayed here a few times and never been dissapointed. Dont expect 5 star luxury, but hell, if you’ve paid half the price of what most chain hotels charge (travel lodges etc) then you shouldn’t expect the earth. The rooms i’ve stayed in have always been clean, with a tv, and ensuite. Think i remember that there is also tea and coffee facilities too. Towels are provided. Bed comfortable. I think breakfast is provided, but if you dont fancy it you can wander up to the McDonalds nearby. You can’t go wrong really. Its in a good location too right near the main station - kings cross.
