To put it simply, if you require anything more than an easy cut and wash, avoid this establishment. I don't consider myself to have extremely problematic hair, but on numerous occasions I have been disappointed (why I kept returning, I'll never know). Having my hair dyed has never been a more frustrating experience, trying to convey the colour I wanted to the staff was just impossible. They seemed to have their own ideas and plough on regardless. Additionally, once I voiced my displeasure, they refused to listen to my points and said that 'it looked fine to them'. I believe I missed the point when their opinion on my hair was paramount, and mine mattered very little. The explanations they gave were condescending and rude; working in retail I have learnt that customers can be difficult fickle creatures, but must be made to feel appreciated and valued, not treated like an ignorant child. Not only was my hairdresser condescending, but the other staff gave me a frosty reception on numerous occasions and thus giving the overall feel of the place a very uninviting environment.

I have gone here for many many years in fact since I was about 8 Although I think the place is OK in the last decade it has gone down hill, especially when they moved buildings. I have spent a lot of money in there over the last 27 years and the owner /manager has not once spoken to me, I apparently give him 30% of the money I pay my hair dresser obviously for supplies staff etc but really not a single word, that's bad form, perhaps he would be best to stop wandering around and speak to his clients , he needs to look beyond the people he cuts and to a whole business model , his impact should be wide not isolated, so to round up I think the place could do a whole heap better!

Love this hairdressers. I hate getting my hair done because it always goes wrong but this place was really good. had a cut and colour and loved it soooo much. they do good offers for first time customers and half price colour’s on Tuesday’s. Not that nice decor inside but the staff are really nice and good price’s.
