The 'All you can eat' freshly cooked to order buffet is excellent value. The 'safer' options were enjoyed by some of our party as were the more adventurous Malaysian dishes by the regular visitors. The food was served promptly but without being rushed and the waitresses were informative and friendly. We have visited with friends & family since Yan Woo opened and have always enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service.

Its busy but thats because its incredible, i love buffets and i love oriental food, enjoying it and ate enough for my moneys worth, definitely would recommend.

Yan Woo is my favourite Malaysian restaurant so far. The service is really good and the chef will modify the dish if you state your preference. I would personally recommend the "Penang style fried ho fun noodles". That is the closest to Penang char kueh teow. I have been there so many times that the waitress knows what I want to order! I am soooooooo going there again!

The Yan Woo is the best Chinese/Malaysian restaurant in Portsmouth (possibly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to)! My family have been going there for years, as the food is always excellent. The service is very friendly and normally quite fast. The prices, especially from their all you can eat menu, are excellent for such a huge choice of high quality dishes. My meal recommendation is the Kambing Rendang and Nasi Goreng - yum!
