Great little place, was just like eating my mates mum's cooking when I was younger.
Definitley recommend it, the guys there were nice and the food was nicer.
Clean and cosy little place just on the edge of the main Edgeware Road strip. Minimalist, this place personfies the kind of home cooked pakistani cuisine restaraunt that was prevalent in London in the 1980’s but is dying out now in place of the trendy wine bar and black shirted waiter type look .
Downstairs most of the place is taken up by the large food counter display which shows around 20-30 dishes.
There is room for seating about 12 people downstairs along with a hand washing basin which i always find a nice touch. But for larger parties there is a big functioning room upstairs for about 30 persons.
Ah the food! yes! curries and rice dishes, superb fresh baked rotis and nan, fried fish , samosas, and tandoori chickens. Servings are big mind. A typical curry costs around £6 but it will easily be enough for 2 people.
Highly recommended for cleanliness and helpfullness of staff on the downside the nan bread is reaheated (why when the far more intricate rotis are fresh?) and the samosas and pakoras (never foods which lend themselves to reheating or being served hours after cooking) arent great.
Overall 85%

A nice easy lunch these guys do is chicken tikka in naan bread with lettuce, onion, and either medium chilli or yoghurt sauce. It was more than enough, and rolled so tightly that nothing could fall out the bottom, not to mention it was only 3 pounds.
There are also some other yummy things like samosas and fish cakes. Instead of the tikka you can choose grilled lamb or chicken on a stick. They also do rice dishes and salads too.
There is one table in there, but this place is better for take-away.
