when it first opened it was good, now it’s just awful
Jimmy Chungs has a great range of starters, main courses and desserts, particularly at dinner time which makes the steeper prices more worthwhile. These prices range from £5.49 for an adult lunch to £11.99 for an adult dinner on Friday or Saturday. The service is great if rather impersonal. I enjoy the food but realise its not the best quality out there. Moreover, I’ve been going for so many years I have gotten a bit bored with what’s on offer. Definitely worth a visit and I would have no doubt have given this five stars a few years back.

Yeah it’s cheap alright, but that’s no excuse for COLD COLD food.
hmmm, i’d give it a miss again.

a must visit for any student. Chinese buffet places in a student town are common place, jimmy chungs being a popular chain of these. The food is average but the prices and service are very good.

This is a great place to go during the daytime on weekdays as it is pretty cheap - roughly £5.50 per person, £3.60 for kids under 11. I am pretty sure kids under 3 eat free. The variety of food is usually pretty good but the only problem I have ever had is that the later you get in after it opens sometimes the food tends to be a bit cold. This can be a cheap place to eat but what ups the price is the cost of drinks. I always just ask for a jug of water when we go in for something to eat, they are very happy to supply you with this at no extra charge. If I do have something to drink I tend to go for a coffee as there is only one charge and they offer free refills (within reason). Yes the tables are pretty close together but the staff are very accomodating to the needs of customers who are disabled or who need extra space for young children. Word of advice, don’t go here before you go shopping, not a nice feeling walking about Stirling with a very full tummy.

The Chinese buffet restaurant is huge and yet the tables are all placed so closely together, in order to get more in. because of this is makes it slightly less enjoyable when you have to squeeze by people to go to the buffet area. They have 3 areas with hot food in, so you get a good selection of starters and mains. I found that the starters I had chosen were not hot but warm, however the main dishes all seemed to be hot enough. The second you have finished eating the staff are over to take away your dirty plate. There is not a huge range of desserts on offer. The staff are very alert to your need and helpful. On the whole I did enjoy it and I would go back.
