Although the food is generally consistent and as expected, this is the coldest restaurant we ever go to and the service can be poor. The staff seem oblivious to customers sitting in their coats zipped up to their necks. Get ready for neck ache if you sit under the air conditioning! This is a shame as otherwise we would go here more often but unless it is a blistering hot day - it is too cold to go there.
The salad is ok but not very healthy and the lettuce tends to be limp. Oddly, the salad bar is the warmest part of the restaurant! Service was ok the last time we went there but previously it has felt like you were gatecrashing their youth club and you can often see your food going cold on the pass whilst the staff chat to one another. My son complains the ice cream is too runny.

Yes pizza hut is perfect for the families (have about £50 for 2 adults & 2 kids) - but I agree can be expensive - but the quality is always consistent. The staff are attentive enough and have no complaints pizza are always fresh and hot.

I actually find this quite a pleasant experience, although the backdrop isnt as inviting, but just enough if you find yourself wandering over to the retail park afterwards. Pizza Hut food is always delicious, even if i must say, probably on the pricy side, compared to rivals, but they do offer a fantastic buffet lunch which is fab on a budget. And the kids love the ice cream parlour afterwards with an eat as much as you like policy. Unfortunately, as a Dad, I couldn’t keep up with the lad. However, it is a good allrounder and definately worth the visit.

Mmmm, pizza! The food is always good at Pizza Hut and I’ve visited quite a few across the country so can assure you they are almost always the same in every Hut you visit.
There’s a great choice and it’s easy to find something for everyone.
Pizza
Choose your base from Pan (thick base), The Italian (thin and traditionally Italian), Cheesy Bites (doughy bites bursting with cheese…delicious!! I love to dip itinto the choice of sauces) and Stuffed Crust (soft melted cheese baked into the crust- start the diet tomorrow!)
There’s everything from Chicken, Pepperoni, Meat, Seafood and just Vegetables- definitely something for everyone.
Pasta
Pizza HUt have recently added Tuscani pastas to their menu which is very Ladies Who Lunch and gives a great additional option.
Desserts
I would recommend the chocoloate fudge cake and vanilla cheesecake - without the strawberry topping- both are VERY tasty and I often order them on their own as a take-away dessert.
The staff in the Rugby Hut are all friendly and nice and I have enjoyed all the times I’ve visited here. They usually provide a quick and efficient service and I would recommend eating here.
There is currently a 50% off voucher available online for a family meal so order it before you plan your night out and get the meal for half price!

i went here for the lunchtime offer and was impressed with the redecoration of the restaurant as it looks more upmarket. The variety of pizza was very good even though it was busy they managed to bring fresh pizzas quickly. The service requires a bit to be desired as the bill was dumped on the table halfway through my meal which i was not impressed with surely they can wait till ther end of our meal. The variety on salad bar was good although hot fresh pasta was simply added to the old pasta not put into a fresh pot wish is surely not very helath and safety concious. All in all a nice lunch for under £10 and chilren are welcome

We went for our lunch and all enjoyed one of the meal deals. Over all meal and drinks came to about £24 plus salad.
Plates are cold for the italian piazza ?
Why have they stopped doing th eranch dressing?
Salad bar was not very nice and empty on occasions
Service was good but my only niggle is having to request drink refills. Parking is excellent.
