The best pub………… in the world. I have been going here for nearly 10 years and it really has not changed much. The ale selection is always great, the food is good (used to be amazing) and the atmosphere is second to none. The staff are friendly and many are the same as when i first started going which is a good sign. It is a place that always feels like home, so i try to visit here every time i am in Aberdeen.

Good Food, good Value & wine on draught!!! What more could a girl ask for? The ability to book a table would be appreciated. Whilst the food is excellent, there is one chef who isn't quite as good as the others - he has grey hair and a moustache. Otherwise - a fantastic place.

Food is lovely here, esp the steak pie, and the beer is great. The only problem is getting a seat. I soppose thats the price of success….

A great pub with lots of old fashioned character. It’s a great place to visit at lunchtime but can get too busy as everyone wants to eat and drink there. The food is fantastic and freshly cooked and inexpensive. There is a big variety of drinks and beers/ales which appeals to everyone. As soon as you walk in through its dark wood doors you will be mistaken for thinking its old and dingy, but keep going and you immediately feel the atmosphere. A mixture of age groups. Worth a visit if you haven’t been there already.

Another good old yet suitable for younger people pub, food is good and again this place has character. Situated in a nice location very central yet hidden.

The best bar in Aberdeen. Fantastic selection of beers, friendly regulars and a cosy atmosphere. If you ever get the chance go on any bank holiday sunday night, fantastic!
