Three Swans Hotel

Very traditional, warm atmosphere. Great for a lunch.

This hotel / restaurant has heaps of character and although its decor is a bit tired, it is warm and welcoming. It is very traditional and there is a fireplace, comfy leather chairs and lots of dark oak furniture. The bar serves a good range of drinks and I have always found the staff there to be helpful and friendly. The conservatory is a lovely feature and you can see why this place is so popular for events such as parties and weddings. I haven’t tried the food here but have heard that it is good and reasonably priced. I like this location for a quiet drink with my partner as it never gets too busy, even on a Saturday night, and is a nice escape from the more rowdy pubs in town.

nice place for lunch, though not really a child orientated place.

there are 2 eating areas downstairs, one in the conservatory which is lovely, and again at the front of the premisis on the high street which again is lovely and traditional inn like. both eating places are completely different in terms of decor but offer the same food
