Dunkerley's Of Deal

This has always been a firm favourite. the food here is of a great standard. Great location by the sea. Gets very busy at peak times so you may need to book ahead.

We visited this hotel-restaurant, in October, on a very hot day and unfortunately all the tables outside were occupied so we ate inside the bar area, which welcomed children. The outside tables are ideally placed as they overlook the sea. The bar is furnished rather oddly with non-matching arm chairs, but the staff were welcoming and we had fish and chips and fish pie, which were all excellent. the white wine was good too and prices were very reasonable.
