The kam tooi is the cheapest in Pompey but food is excellent quality well worth trying

wow, extremely good value 4 money, got a chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, beef curry and chips 4 less then a tenner! portions were very large and food was extremely tasty, only downside is they dont deliver but worth walking or driving to if you are local!

Where else in Portsmouth can you get cod and chips for £1.90?

Not only is this a Chinese takeaway but they also serve a limited fish and chips menu. I believe their prices are the cheapest in Portsmouth, and yet the quality of their food is great (even the chips are always nice and fresh having been cooked in clean oil, and not kept heated for hours on end). It’s such a busy place there’s no time for chips to go stale anyway! Their Chinese menu is full of all your essential takeaway favourites at a great price and their king prawn dishes are my favourite as they feature a huge portion of proper big king size prawns, not the pale imitation you get in many places. Service is always polite, friendly and as quick as possible, and of course you can phone in your order then collect it to save waiting.

This Chinese takeaway is great. It must be the cheapest in Pompey - curry and rice or fish and chips for under £3.00, Most things on the menu are under £3.50 for a large portion. Never have to wait long, and it’s always packed. Good long opening hours too 7 days a week.
