Portsmouth Marriott Hotel

Pricey but extensive, good quality menu. The Saturday night we stayed there was a noisy wedding party in the bar and due to the open plan dining, this was annoying. Well-chosen wine list, excellent service. Lovely smelly cheese!

Expensive to eat there and can smell of the swimmimg pool which is next door to the bar and restuarant. Good views from windows on one side and very close to motorway.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times thanks to paying with Tesco clubcard deals vouchers and have been very happy each trip.

It’s an upmarket hotel along the lines of say the Hilton. The breakfast (help yourself buffet) was great - whatever you wanted and all the food was very nice indeed.

This hotel is located just off the M27 and is just over the road from North Harbour - IBM’s UK headquarters.

There is a huge tesco nearby but other than that you will need a car or public transport as this hotel is the length of the M275 away from Portsmouth’s city centre.

I’ve seen a wedding reception talking place at this hotel and they have a number of conference rooms too. As you’d expect the hotel bar is open until late.
