The current manager has a stick so far up his arse I'm surprised it doesn't poke out of his mouth.
Upon entering I go to wash my hands. Toilet door is locked.
Me to manager: May I use the toilet please?
Manager: Have you got a receipt?
Me: I want to wash my hands before buying something to eat.
Manager: You can buy first then go.
Me: I'm not going to order food then leave it on the table while I visit the toilet! I just want to wash my hands first.
Manager: you will have to wait.
He then serves two other people before coming back to me with the toilet entry code. I go to the toilet and then return to order.
Me: Does the Bacon Double Cheeseburger XL Meal come with large fries?
Manager: You can add 40p if you want large fries.
Me: So the answer is no?
Manager: You're not listening to me. You can add 40p if you want large fries.
Me: I'll just have the Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal then.
Five minutes later I take my burger back because it is cold. The replacement is not much better. The burger has been microwaved but the cold cheese is not melted and the four corners poke out like cardboard. The lettuce is also too cold. For £5.50, it wasn't nice to eat. During this time, I notice the staff member who made the burger is watching me for my response. I'm thinking: What the heck is going on???
Goodbye Camden Burger King. I used to be a regular but not after this disappointing experience.

Maureen should not have a job where she meets people. She is just waiting for a situation where she can feel hurt. Maybe, in her mind, the job has a low status, so she has the feeling that everybody thinks that she´s a looser. Or does it have something to do with the fact that she´s black and I´m white? I don´t know. What I do know is that I never will return to Burger King at High street in Camden.

Burger King do the best burgers and Mcdonalds do the best fries, I think this is an established fact. The Texican burger they are doing at the moment is particularly good (I am a big fan of jalapenos and chilli). The chips were moist with grease and the soft drink was only large if they serve the small ones in shot glasses.
The trouble with this place is it’s location on the main street in Camden. Sorry if it’s not very PC to say this, but like cheap pubs, Fast food joints seem to attract a few freaks and dodgy characters, the ones in busier areas even more so. So given that Camden, while a cool place where I have spent many a great night out, already attracts it fair share of unusual and shady characters, means that this place should be the granddaddy fast food freakshow. There were quite a few people that I would really not like to know and then the odd curiosity (like the guy who after being told 4 or 5 times that there was no coffee was still asking for coffee…jumped the queue too so he must have seriously needed a coffee!)
It’s also not the cleanest place…probably due to how busy it gets.
If you need something cheap and quick at this end of the high street, then I guess you could do worse.

The Camden branch of BK is very much typical of any branch. Clean enough with somewhat helpful and friendly if a little rushed staff and the usual menu options and choices with varying special offers and promotions running at any given time.
Burger King in my opinion serves better hash browns and fries than Mcdonalds but their coffee is worse so steer clear you have been warned.
Also the prices seem to be a little higher here than Mcdonalds but maybe thequality of ingredients reflects that slightly, I don’t know.
The decor isn’t quite as bad as Mcdonalds but it could still do with a complete overhaul, it just isn’t pleasant to eat your lunch in a place reminiscent of a young offenders institution.
All in all it’s very run of the mill stuff but if the Kings your thing then this isn’t a bad branch to visit.

Located just South of Camden Town tube station the Burger King restaurant is typical of any other Burger King outlet. I think there is wifi available here and as it is on the corner there are a couple of cornr window seats available to watch the world go by from.
In my opinion the food does tend to be a bit better than that offered by McDonalds, although I think it is slightly more expensive.

Very central location right on Camden High St and not too far at all from the Tube station. Food obviously is like any other Burger King really. It is a big chain so, love or hate it, you know what you are going to get wherever you choose to eat from Moscow to Milton Keynes. I did hear that they offer free wi fi access here which is a real bonus though try not to get tomato ketchup all over your lap top! A piece of advice is ask them to cook your burger fresh rather than heating it back up in the microwave. Much tastier.

It is like any other burger king, food much better than mcdonalds, it is clean and usually not as busy, free wi-fi, go there! and who doesn’t love a whopper?!

I’m not a big fan of Burger King food but I’ve recently started going to this burger king instead of Mcdonalds because I’ve found the restaurant to be so clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Whenever I go in there never seems to be any litter around the store and the tables seem to be wiped down regularly. The staff always greet you with a smile and the service is usually pretty quick.

Located within 100 metres of Mc Donalds but the burgers are far superior in my opinion. the milkshakes in comparision are not so nice as well as the chips which I find to be too crispy and dry!
For reference, BK oftens gives out vouchers in the local newspapers and on the internet through which its possible to gain a number of deals. For example, two hamburgers and two portions of chips for £1.99 or but one whopper get one free.
While BK is slightly superior to McD, its high prices are not warrant in my humble opinion!
