Set lunch was very tasty with generous portions and friendly service as usual. The Squid Amaritsari starter was chosen by all three of us as it’s so delicious & tender. The weather just happened to be lovely too. Will return soon!

A fabulous Indian restaurant. We have been there 4 or 5 times since we have moved to the area and we love it. We are always surprised at how few people are in but maybe that has just been the time of year and day and times we’ve been (usually Sunday night?).
I am a great fan of Indian food and as of late have list a bit of interest due to it all being a bit same old, but this place is different not your usual unidentifyable curry with meat but a refined and well presented dish with distinctly different flavours. The menu includes a quite a bit if seafood choices for obvious reasons and the lamb and chicken dishes are always good quality well cooked meats.
The service has always been friendly, helpful and attentive.
Would highly recommend this place and take any visitors there with no hesitation.

I’m really surprised to see so few reviews for this excellent Indian restaurant. I guess one factor is it’s location is rather out of the way, and unless you have been recommended it you are unlikely to find it by accident. That said a taxi to The Bombay Bay shouldn’t be hugely expensive (and it’s worth getting there) or you can take a short walk along the seafront, or from the nearest bus stop.
The Bombay Bay has it’s own website and as you can see from the menu online the prices are excellent value for the quality of the food. The pictures are representative of just how nicely the meals are presented.
I was surprised by the generously sized portions and very pleased as all the dishes I have tried have been delicious.
The restaurant is very clean with a nice atmosphere and well placed tables and for those who smoke, and those who want to enjoy the view and a spot of fresh air there is also a balcony which is a nice bonus.

I like the fact you can take a book at their menu on their website before booking. They do a set menu deal that’s good value and you get to choose pretty much whatever you want anyway. Nice atmosphere for couples or families. Food is really tasty.

This is a top notch Indian restaurant. You will not find just the usual curry’s here instead you’ll find things like pumpkin and mussels on the menu. As it overlooks the marina, it’s not surprising that there’s plenty of sea food options on the menu. For my 60th Birthday we booked a table for 12 and everyone had a great time. The meals are great value and you get surprisingly large portions.
