If you’re in the area….you just got to do it. Exceptional choice of mens clothing, the same goes for ladies. Prices really good at the moment, which good for us all.
Have a look at the Perfume Dept as there are some good deals on at the time of writing.
There is something for everyone!Love it also!

Has a cosy feel to it-always pleasing with plenty of shops to buy stuff from. My family always come here to buy stuff when necessary, and we have had no bad experiences whatsoever. So overall it would be a great idea to come here to see what suits your taste in buying whatever you want here!

Allders is a croydon landmark which every who as been to croydon has to go here! It is the centre of croydon and has such a variety of stuff for you to buy from toothbrushs to tvs. Recommended to anyone who wants to get a real feel for croydon

Allders is central to the history of Croydon, having occupied its present spot since the 1860s. It is still a big draw in the town, but has become a bit of a mixed bag and some of it is looking very dated and slightly tatty, particularly on the ground floor level.
Aside from groceries, there is not much you can’t get in Allders - it sells carpets, white goods, make-up and toiletries, clothes, toys and furniture. You can even get your hair cut there. My favourite department, though, is haberdashery: so few department stores still offer haberdashery, so it’s great to have it so handy, especially with the demise of the other local outlet, Turtle’s. The kitchenwear department is also great, with lots of helpful gadgets and implements. All in all, it’s still worth visiting, but it’s not what it was.

Allders is like Croydon’s own House of Fraser. You can literally get lost in there, that is how much you can see and do. Allders are situated just next to the Whitgift Centre and you can enter the building through a few entrances. You can easily reach Allders by taking the tram or one of many bus stops that stops around the Whitgift Centre. There is really something for everyone inside the store, from restaurants, bed shopping, clothing and electricals… it is quite amazing. The store has that Selfridges / House of Fraser feeling to it with little shops and stalls all over the place all connected.
