Mistrys, is an independent pharmacy. The shop is quiet large and sells various aftershaves, perfumes, gifts, medicines and prescriptions. There are no issues with the goods on sale and the shop is quiet smart. There is a shared car park at the rear.

The only criticism is over some of the staff. On a good day the staff are great and really helpful on a bad day they are rude, aloof and condescending.

A good example, today a Thursday in December 2011 my partner collects a prescription and the system is to pay at another till. After waiting for a good while a lady challenges her and says “we’re closed” “Well I’m the customer and I want to pay for these” “well the tills are off so we cant” thankfully we were rescued by less-aloof member of staff who apologies for the previous member of staff. Several people have mentioned similar experiences, so with that in mind only 3 stars this time.

Great independent chemist on the high street that has a huge range of products. It has the feel of a much larger department store when you step inside as the cosmetic counters are large, with big names like Lancome and Clarins, and they often have a free gift offer. If you like your premium brand cosmetics and skincare then this is the place to go as nowhere sells as much in Market Harborough. Prices are expensive. There is an excellent pharmacy too. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. You can also get photos developed here. A one-stop shop!

Independent pharmacy with all the things you would expect plus fabuous range of Clarins, etc make up and perfumes. Market Harbourgh doesn’t have a department store so this does what the beauty department in a department store does. Lovely service. Chemists. Photography. Parking at rear.

I was surprised how big Mistrys is when you enter the shop. You start with perfumes and gifts, in a good sized area, which leads through to an area stocking everything, and more, that most would expect from an independant chemist, and beyond that the dispensing area and rear/carpark entrance. The staff are always helpful and informative, the stock range wide (I can think of two or three items I can only get there, such as organic/eco toiletries that previously I had only seen avaialble through mail order). They are also happy to place orders for products they don’t usually carry, so long as one of their suppliers has the item, so Mistrys is always my first stop when looking for something in particular.

a selection of beauty gifts, photograph counter, perfume counter and all personal hygiene / health products available as well as a pharmacy. at the rear of the shop there is a passport photography service and a developing studio for those that want prints run off immediately.
