You need to try Bonhommes on the Crescent, it is lovely the best Beer in Yorkshire, I reckon.

visited here 2nd October 2010, initially just for a pint of real hand pulled Black Sheep ale but finished up having a meal as well, friendly barstaff and customer service was excellent, beer lovely and meal great, will be back here next time we visit Filey

When we went in the summer this pub was alittle touristy, but the bar layout is cosy and the staff very friendly so you feel welcome.
Beer is well priced and they do a small menu of good old fashioned pub grub and is very welcoming to families. There is a pub lounge room to the front and tables in a long back room for lunching on - so it feels airy.
They have a free car park to the rear which is always a bonus to me as seaside parking can be a pain.
For a quiet drink or a family lunch I can recommend this.
