The Court Oak

Pleasant enough but I can't stand being served cold beer in hot glasses!

This is a lovely Ember Inns pub, with large open spaces and plenty of tables.

Very good service from the staff and any problems with the order are soon smoothly and easily sorted out.

The menu is the standard Ember Inns one which provides a large variety of food for everyone to choose something that they like, however the standard of cooking it seems better at the Court Oak rather than other local outlets.

It is lovely to sit inside in the winter, it’s very welcoming with a large open fire and lots of comfy seats. It’s even nicer to sit outside in the summer if it’s not raining!! Although as with other pub gardens, the excessive amount of smokers can ruin the outside experience.

Could be easier to park there!

Great ember inns pub. Very good service yet the staff often seem to get
orders wrong and the food does take a while to come to the table.
the outside garden is fantastic in the summer and the interior is lovely and welcoming
