I smell a rat…this review seems like a hatchet job to me,,,, unbiased punter. Saw no probs with the guy, in fact he was very nice to us visiting out of Towners.

The Jawbone was recently taken under new management, I have been visiting the Jawbone for the last 3 years, and I will not be returning.
I went on New Years Eve (As I have the last 3 years) and the atmosphere was awful. If not for my group of friends, it would have been pretty boring. For the first half an hour the music they were playing seemed to be royalty free, turns out it was just old and not particularly successful music. They had a jukebox (no DJ) yet turned off all the music we picked. Didn't hear one hit, or anything produced in the last 4/5 years all night.
The new manager is absolutely foul, horrible attitude, was storming around the pub, being rude towards customers. Accused me of being a liar (I put money in the Jukebox and he turned all my songs off) ... even one of the staff members called him a "dick".
Decor is cheap. The carpet is older than I am. Service was okay, won't deny the staff are pretty nice. Even they know how horrible the manager is.
I will never return to this place as long as that horrible idiot is managing it.
