Have you ever tasted a cake so delicious soft, creamy, moist yet crumbly in your life? Well that’s what the cakes from Hetherton’s taste like. Heaven. On a plate.
I have had the fortune to purchase two cakes from Hethertons now, one a simple sponge cake encased in white and pink icing…the second a construction vehicle, decorated to perfection. Both cakes, although expensive as they had been hand made to specific requirements, were absolutely delicious.
Hethertons is situated at the end of Bartholomew Street, prior to Black Boys bridge and is home to some of the most delicious cakes…however, beware, whilst they sell many bakery goods off pat, cakes are only to be ordered.
