Nicely presented pub with a large beer garden. Sunday lunch looked very nice and the pub was full. Pub quiz on a Sunday night.

Lovely pub on the Bath Road with a large beer garden and pretty good food (upmarket kind of pub food). Not a huge amount of choice for ale but plenty of other things to drink and comfy seats. They also have classes, music, a good size function room, fetes, so lots going on all the time!

This is a very nice neat pub with a slight modern style and a good beer garden. I don't particularly like the choice of Ale's here (Arkell's 2b and 3b) but the Guest are often good. The food here is ok. I had a Sunday lunch and the beef was a bit tough and a little fatty bit the flavour was nice. My partner had the vegetable moussakka which was full of flavour and garlic but she did say that some of the vegetables within were slightly undercooked.

This is a great pub. It was refurbished just before the smoking ban came into effect in 2007, and has never allowed smoking inside. It has a great combination of modern decor and a warm, more traditional feel. The food is all home cooked, original and delicious. No children’s menu, but the staff will be really flexible if you want a smaller meal, or something specific. Great garden which is surprisingly peaceful for all that it’s set only metres off the busy Bath Road. Has random fetes in the garden in the summer, and salsa classes on a Thursday evening (upstairs).
