Boots The Chemists

A clean shop that always has a staff member around to ask. The queues move quickly and i always get what i want from this store.

Long established Boots set on 2 floors. Upstairs is the opticians which I can highly recommend for the care and throughness from the test to the selecting of glasses.
On the upper floor also is the camara department with a machine to devolop your photos from Your memory cards.
Also a passport photo Booth(you can never find one when you need one) Also on this floor is an extensive baby department.
The lower floor is where the pharmacy is Though this is always very busy And even though they provide chairs it can be a long wait for a prescription.
All basic Boots toiletries and makeup are on this floor. Agree with previous review and like the “privacy” of scanning own purchases.
The other nice thing about this Boots is the familarity of a lot of the faces who are in their 50s and 60s and seen to have been working here for decades.

The pharmacy section of Boots in Cheltenham is a real asset to the store. The pharmacy staff are all very helpful and knowlegable, and always happy to give you advice. They also have a very large stock of medicines for all of the most common ailments, and those that are available without prescription are all laid out very well and categorised by symptoms. This makes it really easy to find what you’re looking for.
The new self scan checkouts are also a real plus and perfect for any shy people that don’t like buying embarrassing items!
The store is also open til 6pm throughout the week which is perfect for people who work 9-5.

Great this time of year brilliant gift ideas and not too badly priced. Plenty of stock.
Good pharmacy available which you do have to wait for but not unlike anywhere else I don’t suppose. Good choice of everyday toiletries aswell as for those relaxing special me times. You are always able to find what you are looking for be it for yourself or someone as a gift.
They have an opticians on the first floor together with photo developing. A range of digital camera’s and electrical goods for pampering and preening.

A good size branch of Boots with plenty of ranges stocked. The pharmacy (at the back of the store) is helpful and knowledgeable. Main downside is that it is spread over four floors, all of which are accessible by wheelchair or pushchair, but slowly - not the quickest of lifts!
