Vivary park

A beautiful, well kept open space right in the centre of Taunton. The park offers a variety of things to do including a pitch and putt, huge water fountain, reconditioned bandstand and both childrens and toddlers playgrounds. A shop is opend ar certain times offering drinks, ice-creams and sandwiches.

Various events are hosted here including the annual taunton flower show.

Great as we live close enough to walk. Two playground areas (one for toddlers at one end & one for older children at the other); ducks/geese/swans to feed, lovely refurbished fountain, lots of wide walkways and plenty of room to run for the little ones. Mini golf, clubhouse and snack bar as well plus the train club near the toddler playground certain times of the year that offers train rides. One of the best parts we’ve ever lived close to (and we’ve lived all over the world!)

Lovely - what a great place to come to for some peace and quiet. I believe it has been open since 1895. There is also a good size children’s playgorund. The flower beds are well kept and the whole park is nicely presented. They have lots of functions on here. It has a good 18 hole golf course next door.

Vivary Park is lovely. There are lots of benches in the sun and shade, as well as a large amount of places to sit on the grass.

There is a crazy golf course and cafe across the river, and a playpark for the kids.

A great place to go and eat lunch - bought from one of the many sandwich bars in the high street of course!

Vivary Park is a large park in the Centre of Taunton, which has been open since 1895.

The park includes formal gardens, a band stand a small aviary containing Canaries and other small birds, a boating pond and a children’s playground.

This park is a nice place for a walk or to sit in the sun on a summer’s day. On the outskirts of the park is a golf course and tennis courts.
