Basil Harbour Cafe, Nairn

Agree with previous comments regarding the size of this Cafe however with the views outside I usually find I takeaway from here.

Great little place with a very good selection of meals and sandwhiches. Just too small.

Good selection of food from scones to main courses. All is prepared freshly and to a very high standard.

Seating inside is limited but in good weather there are seats outside as well; these have lovely views over the harbour and river mouth.

The cafe also does takeaway.

The Basil Harbour Cafe is the best Cafe in Nairn. Not only does it have the best location – looking out over the harbour but it serves the most fantastic food.
The food is freshly made on the premises and is of an extremely high standard. They serve a wide range of foods from sandwiches to full meals. They also serve awesome cakes.
The cafe itself is tiny but they do have seats outside and a separate takeaway outlet.
Since all the food is freshly prepared you have to be prepared to wait. I think you can phone ahead if you have a takeaway order that you need quickly.
