Top place for a special meal. Good choice, good service and reasonable priced. The restaurant is attractively decorated and well laid out. The waiting area for drinks does not work quite as well with its high ceilings and not that successful decoration. Can sometimes be a problem with large parties in the dinning room being a bit noisy, possibly visiting golfing groups.
Overall difficult to go wrong.
Set in beautiful surroundings, Shaw hill is an excellent choice for a special occasion.
We have dined there on several occasions and have found both the service and the food superb. The level of service you recieve is second to none and all the waiters and waitresses cannot do enough for you.
There is a fully equipped gym and leisure facilities there, as well as a superb golf course.
There are several rooms available for private functions.
The hotel facilities are of a good standard with a variety of price ranges.
The parking is private and spaces are reserved for Golfing captain.
Well worth a visit if it is a special occasion or just to treat yourself.
