I was shocked to read the comment above, I’m a regular at this place and they take pride in what they sell, how they handle it, and how it’s stored.
I checked the food rating mentioned above to find that it seems that Munchkin has got the shop mixed up with a cheese stall in Abingdon Market, an easy enough mistake to make, but one that could impact on the reputation of a family business than us locals have a high regard and respect for.
I checked on the Food Standards Agency Website too and The Crumbly Cheese has a hygiene rating of 5/5 as at December 2012. Lovely little shop.
I suppose it’s an easy enough mistake to make when two business’s have very similar names, that’s why we need to check for ourselves rather than {even innocently} slaughter someone’s good reputation.

Aww, what a lovely little shop this really is.
Loads of cheeses that I have never even heard of and all the cheeses that I have, lots of little pots of condiments and biscuits for your cheese.
Very friendly man behind the counter and I won’t hesitate to pop in again soon.

What a cracker!! Every cheese known to man, and more besides. Locally produced chutneys, pickles, jams and eggs - a fabulous independent high street gem.

Mmm cheese! Lovely little shop in Cleveleys stocking a great choice of cheeses. The friendly proprieter is knowledgeable and happy to advise you if, like me, you can't make up your mind which ones to choose :-) Also has a good range of chutneys including the Cottage Delight range of products which are really pleasant. Top quality biscuits and oatcakes to grace any cheeseboard are available and a small range of other products too. Forget the vacuum packed mass produced cheeses from the supermarkets, come along to a little shop like this and get some real cheese you won't regret it! :-)

Wow, if you like cheese then go no further than this little gem. It is only a small shop in the main shopping centre of Cleveleys, but it really stocks a wide selection of cheese.
The owner tries to stock locally made cheese as well as cheeses from around the world.
It is up to you how much you want, none of this pre-packed rubbish sold here.
Fresh eggs of various sizes, including duck eggs are available as well as a range of honeys, jams and fruit butters.
To complement your cheese a full range of crackers and biscuits are stocked as well as various pickles and chutneys.
So if you want a pound of mousetrap or a small piece of Garstang Blue, the Crumbly Cheese is the place to go.
