Moment of India

Now called The Zest of India, the food was superb, it was fresh, you could taste the distinct herbs, a cut above a regular curry house.

It gets 4 stars and not five because:
- one beer cost the same as the lunchtime 2-course meal
- it was cold outside and not much warmer inside
- the waiter didn't speak English! It didn't stop us from getting good food but we asked him a question about one of the dishes and he just looked at us blankly

I'd still go back, I think in the evening it'd probably have a good atmosphere and the food was worth it.

We ate there last night, everything was excellent, had chicken tikka massala and chicken curry, great quality tender chicken, cooked to perfection; not dry, or under cooked. Very flavorsome but not too hot, just as we wanted; drinks are a tad pricey, but that is normal in this type of place. staff were friendly and helpful, without being patrononising

Indian Zest, it's fantastic - The food is true contemproary indian cuisine, the flavours are amazing, it's the best indian restaurant we've eaten at outside of London. A great addition to Harborough's choice of restaurants, with this and Ascoughs the best in town.

Now re-opened as Indian Zest. Same modern interior with a few extra touches. The food was excellent. Good flavours, great texture and the right amount of heat. Service was attentive but not too formal. Easily the best Indian restaurant in town.

The best curry house in Market Harborough, although for takeaway they are quite expensive.

Modern interior and excellent food, although service was lacking somewhat on my last visit.

I went there in a group of 7 people and we waited about 10 minutes to be asked what drinks we wanted. It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive and 20 minutes after finishing the table was cleared and the hot towels arrived. Not good enough in my opinion and not worthy of a tip.

We all really enjoyed the food though and I would definitely recommend this as the place to eat curry in Market Harborough.

Aside was the poor service on that one visit (other times it has been fine) I would say they need to make their takeaway service less expensive and give more consistency on portion size. Sometimes they give me 2 onion bhajess - and other times 4! Also the naan breads are about half the size of Babe Blooz.

Still - for food quality and taste this is the best around here.

The latest addition to St Marts Road’s curry centre - that’s 4 Indian restaurants within 200 yards now, Moment of India is working hard to offer something different. A chic chrome based interior gives a bright look whilst the menu offers unusual fare include deer based dishes.

The Sunday buffet is quite excellent, easily the best of those in town, and for once actually is a buffet!
