Always been a favourite with me. I'm 51, love studenty pubs and the Thursday £1 specials on drinks are welcome although not essential. People will always find cash for a beer! Ha. GC the DJ

A little bit pricey and run down but still a nice place to have a drink or two. Just the right amount of buz on a week night to be enjoyable.

More aimed for students as it’s down the road from the university and located in the Beverley Road area of Hull where there is a large base for student housing.

It is a large pub with 2 bars, several pool tables, smoking area, food available and of course cheap drinks!!

It also hosts sports on 2 of their large screens and sometimes boasts local bands

It is in a chain of 'It’s a Scream’ pubs which means if you are a student and can prove so, you can bag yourself a yellow card which can knock around 50p to £1 off certain drinks.

I myself am not a student but because of the friendly atmosphere i go here most friday & saturday nights.

Haworth Arms is aimed at students and young people for it’s clientele, being down the road from the university. It is quite a lage pub, and contains seperate areas if you don’t want to be in all the action.
This pub regularly shows sporting events on large screens around the pub, and has lots of snooker tables and games machines, which all tend to be really popular.
There is also a function room upstairs that’s quite decent sized, although it can be a bit of a choreto get upstairs while having a drink.
What makes Haworth so popular are the prices. They are part of the scream chain, which allows students to buy a “yellow” card for a small fee, and get a small discount off quite a few drinks. The lager comes in on as little as £1.30 a pint on certain nights.

the haworth arms is another scream pub in this area. which is great if you are a student as it is near the university and lots of student accomodation. it has a few pool tables, big screens etc and a decent sized function room upstairs for parties etc. they also run the yellow card scheme where you pay a small membership fee to get drinks at reduced prices.

this place used to be my local, very easy going atmosphere a great start to a night out before going in town to a club or maybe just to start your pub crawl. Pool tables are sometimes hard to get on but the atmosphere definately makes up for it. Never had any trouble while i have been in there. Good times.

This place is great. The beer is a little more expensive than other places, and this can be reduced slightly by a Scream Card, which costs about £1 for a year. It has an outside bit with tables and benches, and it has games machines inside where you can test your general knowledge etc. It is pretty popular and gets crowded. I think it also shows football matches on a big screen, although Ive never really paid attention.
