Traditional fish and chips served here. Not a bad chippy, although I have had better but I have also had much worse too. Enjoyable but not the best.

shop clean fish not as good as have been told did not think it was fresh fish more like frozen staff friendly

Rainhill Fish Bar is probably the best old-fashioned fish-and-chip place in the area. The food is consistently tasty, and the service is great. You can tell the staff and management take a lot of pride in the way the place is run, as you are always met with a friendly face and a positive, eager-to-please attitude. I know some places where the customer service sucks, so this really makes a difference to me.
The fish and chips are very tasty, though I usually can’t resist a kebab. They also do specials, such as pasta dishes and salads.
