The Bakers Oven

Good value lunch on the trot.

You’ve got your classic bready sandwiches to pick or a baguette if you feel like something more substantial.

If it’s cold out got for a pastry with a hot filling.

This branch is only little with no seating area. Luckily there’s a bench round a tree just outside, not much luck if it’s raining but nice on a warm day.

They have lots of sweet treats to round off your eating habits. They generally have some silly looking cakes to appeal to kids.

You can’t go wrong with pink iced buns.

Always excellent, never had a problem, busy store during lunch.

Good prices and good food.

I love the food here, especially on a cold day - nothing quite like a baker oven steak bake. yum!
the service is really slow though, so if you are nipping in for a bottle of water I would recommend you go elsewhere.
the staff are friendly enough, not rude but equally not standing around yacking all day - probably a good thing with the queu sizes!
its a small place with no seats to eat in, there are a few seats in the area you could perce at to eat though.

As you walk past the enterance of Bakers Oven, you are dragged in by the irresistable smell of freshly baked bread, cookies, pastries and cakes. The prices are fairly reasonable and are definately good value for money. When you walk into the bakery, you can see the bakers in the kitchen at the back of the store making bread and cookies. The staff are friendly and the tmosphere is good.

The staff at Bakers Oven are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. As you are walking up to road, you can smell the bread, cakes and biscuits being made. As you walk into the bakery, you can see the staff making bread pastries etc and so you know they are fresh from the oven. Every Thursday morning, I treat my self to a fresh slice of Bread Pudding and it is delicious. (:
