The menu is very varied with a lot of choice for everyone. The Goan Vegetable Curry which I chose was really delicious and well presented, and there were several other vegetarian dishes as well (Quorn Chilli, Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne, Chargrilled Red Pepper Pasta and Cheese, Onion & Tomato Quiche). Plenty of meaty choices too, starters and lovely desserts. The soft drinks, teas and coffees can be refilled from a machine as often as you like for the price of one.
The staff were very helpful and one of them fetched my coffee for me when she realised that I didn't know I had to serve myself.
There are various "meal deals" depending on the day. I think I read that you can have two meals for £10 on a weekday between 12.00 and 6.30pm. I will definitely go again and I wholeheartedly recommend it as somewhere to take friends or relatives.
As previous poster dont visit if in a rush for food as they only have one speed of service and that is incredibly slow. The food is reasonable but nothing special and as this place is slightly out the way it doesnt make it worth visiting unless you are passing. It is reasonably priced, a good size and has a good car park.

The Cotton Mill is just along the road from crosshouse hospital in Kilmarnock. Its attached to a premier inn hotel and is part of the weatherspoons or Brewers Fayre chain of restaurants (can’t remember which one!) so its prettty standard pub grub thats available. Service any time I have been can be very slow so don’t go if you are in a rush or exremely hungry!
There is a childrens’ play area within the restaurant but its very small.

Sounds quite an appealing vegetarian selection, and tasty.
