Headmasters

Last week I had a appointment at the headmaster in bath for color and cut.  I had a both and I end up going home crying that they killed my hair. After Haircut my hair looks like a rat tile and color well the best to describe this is "style" is black and white cow. I have nothing against cow but i do not want to look like one. On top off all the girl who did color told me that this is how it should be and I waited to long between coloring. 

I've been in that salon several times and the result was always okish..they can never guarantee that we are gonna have the same hairdresser every time. they never keep details for your latest color even if you are a permanent client. Furthermore, my latest appointment which was today was very disappointing...after discussing for 20 mins with the hairdresser about my color, we came to a decision about the tint and she said 'unfortunately I don't have time to do your color today as I spent a lot of time in consultation, we have to re-book your appointment'. I was shocked..I left from the office an hour earlier to do my hair, the hairdresser had to ask the color expert for advice as she wasn't sure, she was talking very loudly and at the end I didn't have my color...and they never said sorry. They are very unprofessional, unfriendly and they don't care about the client. I had also recommended to two friends which are also very unpleased.

Always massively picky about my hair I had stubbled to find one that I could trust after several abortive attempts however several people recommended Headmasters and finally plucking up the courage to pop in i was greeted by friendly and lovely staff. 

You always get offered a drink which is nice and the stylists really know their stuff my favourite is Tamara and won't let anyone else go near it now. I told her roughly what I do to my hair (nothing) how I wanted it to look (gorgeous, effortlessly of course) and off she went! Bit scary at first for someone who is as nervous of hairdressers as most people are of the dentist. But my faith was rewarded as my hair is healthy and shining like never before. She recommended a product but didn't push the sale and it genuinely is amazing doing exactly what she said it would. 

I would most defiantly recommend anyone who wants a brilliant haircut consistently! They are a premium-ish salon that I would say give High-End cuts and service for moderate prices. They have great offers as well, I always have my headmasters card which is free to register for from the website and gives you 25% cuts if they are booked between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Or if you refer a friend you get 50% off. Colouring is often on sale as well which is great for the occasional treat. 

All in all a fabulous salon which I can't go without! 

I always use this place and have recommended to lots of friends and family. It isn't such a good deal when you have to pay full wack (£40 - £50) but definately worth it if you take a friend with you or refer someone.

I like that you get a very posh drink whilst getting your hair cut :)

I have bought some products too, as I liked them but they aren't pushy.

i have been to this salon quite a few times before and had a few different people and all have been amazing! i couldnt of been happier my hair is looking shiny and healthy (which it wasnt before) they have so many offers 30% off colour on a tuesday and i have never seen it empty. Also the recommend a friend system is fab u can recommend loads of friends and get them a half price cut and yourself one too!

The first time I went here I loved it, however when I went back the girl who I had previously seen had left.

The new girl I saw was rude, obnoxious and gave a really bad cut. She lectured me on products like I was a child and then proceeded to be stroppy when I wouldn't buy them.

I was unhappy with the cut as it was extremely overpriced (£45) She constantly scraped her fake nails on my neck and barely cut anything off (I still had split ends when she had finished) The whole app (wash,cut, b/dry) took only 20mins!

Needless to say I won't be going back, in fact I wish I had complained! Instead I'm making do with making sure everyone avoids this salon!

I stumbled unpon Headmasters when i desperately needed a haircut (to look professional for an interview) and my appointment with another rubbish saloon was cancelled…wthout me being informed.

the service in Headmasters was good and they offer excellent cuts at very good prices. They also have something called stand0by haircuts, where you can get haircuts at reduced rates if you turn up on the day itself if peple cancel their appointments.

I had a cut and colour and i am very pleased with the results. My friends and family complimented me on how my haircut suits my face. :)

This looks and feels like a high-end salon, with low prices- if you get a referral from a friend. They have a referral scheme on at the moment- if you recommend a friend (or indeed, are recommended by a friend), you BOTH get 50% off your next hair cut. My friend referred me before I first went, so I got a great haircut for £15, which in Reading is practically unheard of. They used lovely products on my hair, and gave a hair consultation first to see what would look good with my hair type and face shape etc. I was very happy with the results and would definitely return.
