This place is brilliant and worth the travel from Hertford where I could go to several garden centres in the Crews Hill area. What sets this place apart is the products are all superb. Quality is not sacrificed. Staff are good and the actual layout and experience superb.
All my family also use it and I always recommend it to my friends…

Best Garden Centre in the UK
I shop all the time at this wonderful Garden Centre, and having bought off Ebay only to have the plant die I would never again. The Ebayer was not interested in my problem, as they had no interest in plants!
Sunshine have won the best Plant Area in the UK for two years and I trust that they only source the best plants. You can always find cheaper if you look hard enough, but I would never compromise quality for a cheap save.

Rip-Off Prices.
This garden centre is selling plants at outrageously high prices compared to the out of town garden centres i usually go to in Enfield. Also i found ebay to be much, much cheaper even with postage included.
I'll give an example of how ridiculous the prices are. I went there yesterday to buy a plant called the Sansevieria (Mother in Law's Tongue). The staff were helpful and directed me to it but the price was shocking. It was £39.99 for a 50cm tall plant.
I looked on ebay for the same plant and found one about the same height and with around the same number of leaves for just £12 plus £8 delivery. So it was half the price on ebay even with postage added.
I mentioned the staff were helpful but on my previous visit i was unlucky because one of the checkout staff told me off for simply walking through the wrong entrance. No other shop i've been to has staff telling off customers for such petty reasons.
Even if you are lucky and do not experience the few bad apples who are rude to the customers, the biggest problem with this store remains the totally outrageous prices they charge for plants. For this reason it deserves the lowest score possible.

One of the best garden centres I have ever been to. It is a large store with large customer car park at the front. This store has lots of character and feels like a place where staff feel really passionate about their business. You’ll find a huge selection of indoor and outdoor plants here. I received a lot of helpful tips from the staff regarding care for my orchids. They pointed the stuff I was doing wrong and gave me tips how to care properly for my plants.
Apart from the plants, you’ll find hundreds of related items on offer, such as plant feed, planting and decorative pots, water features, garden furniture, outdoor heating, lawnmowers, even garden jacuzzis. I also like browsing through a huge selection of home accessories, stuff like cushions, rugs, lamps, small pieces of furniture, kitchen accessories, glassware, candles, etc.
At the front of the shop you’ll find lovely gourmet food items, packaged in decorative tins and jars. You could find a lot of gifts ideas here. It is all upmarket stuff, slightly pricey, but worth the money, considering the quality.
The staff will help you with all the heavy and bulky items to your car.

A Good size garden centre with very helpful staff. Nice selection of plants, some aquatic plants, very pretty garden furnitures, large selection of jams, chutneys, biscuits, candles, garden accessories. Lovely ice creams and cakes at the garden cafe. Gorgeous Xmas decorations at winter. A great place to be!
