Get Knitted

Lovely shop and really nice wools - some more expensive than others, but with some cheaper Patons yarns too. Fantastic range of workshops and knitting club - just a pity that its not more convenient for me as I would go there more often! As it is I will always drop in when passing even if I dont want anything as I just like looking at the different wools!

Ordered Knitpro starter set needles, needles were flawed and the metal shafts were well scuffed, honestly looked like they were a well used set. I sent a friendly email, got a matter of fact response, said i would get a new set on reciept of the flawed ones, only to hear nothing from them until I got in contact to find out if they had received the needles! then was told that i would have to wait until they received back from Knitpro which could take up to month, so i had no alternative but to ask for my money back. No apologie, no response in fact had the feeling that it was too much trouble. Not a friendly seller at all.

I can’t beging to tell you how happy I have found this shop - a knitters haven which allows the younger, and possibly more discerning customer browse yarn and supplies from around the world - touching and “oohing and ahhing” as you go. They stock yarns which are rarer,l and harder to find unless you buy on the internet, as well as usual knitters favourites. Their philiophy and approach is quirky and kind, their store very well laid out, and if you are up for it, the social scene they organise for knitters inside and outside the premises is amazing.

can’t think of anything which would make me not want to reccomend this shop wholeheartedly. A real find!

This shop is a knitter Heaven. large bright Its off the beaten track but brilliant … Yarns everywhere, in all colours and textures. Lornas Lace, Rowan, Debbie Bliss as well as your cheaper yarns Patons Extensive Pattern range.
I travel 40 miles every month to shop here
