I attended a wedding in this hotel. The grounds are very pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The wedding tables were beautifully set out and the attention to detail was wonderful.
The bar is overpriced but then again, most hotels are.The meal was just average. The room for the evening reception was spacious and airy. The lighting and ambience was perfect and the bar was private. However the evening buffet food was totally disgusting. The prices here are very expensive and it definately should have been edible!! The sandwiches contained really cheap ham, hard cheese and floppy lettuce. The sausages were definately cooked on a dirty grill!! ughhhhhhhhh. The food really lets this lovely hotel down!!
well worth a vist

This hotel has a wonderful location in that it is very quiet and the surroundings are excellent. The grounds are perfect for photographs making it a popular choice for weddings in the area. The hotel is a little more expensive than others in the area but the service reflects this. The hotel offers a carvery at the weekends as well as an extensive menu to choose from and this is quite reasonable for hotel prices. The rooms could use redecoration but are clean enough. All the staff in the hotel are extremely efficent and friendly. The hotel also has ax excellent country club.

The setting of this hotel is lovely, and the grounds are beautuful. The interior of the hotel is really rustic and its great to be able to sit and have a drink in the evening at the bar beside the roaring fire. But the rooms let this hotel doen. While they are really spacious the decir is really dated and not what you’d expect from a hotel of this class and the prices they charge. The restaurant serves great food and the staff are friendly and efficient. The sunday carvery can be hit and miss and sometimes the quality isn’t as good as i expect from the dunadry. Overall though its a lovely hotel and well worth a visit, as long as you don’t mind the dated rooms.
