My number one stop shop for some sparkly earrings. The choice is great here, hundreds of designs to choose from and in such a tiny little shop too. Some of the hair accessories are tacky and there is a lot of high school musical or kiddy tat but it’s a good mixture of good and bad. You can get your ears pierced here too

Isn’t Claire’s fantastic! I used to love the Claire’s stores as a kid, and even now it’s brilliant for presents for young girls and for dancy dress for not-so-young girls! They actually do some nice cheap jewellery, such as bangles and hair ties, and it doesn’t matter too much if it doesn’t last forever if you’ve only paid £3 for it!

This all comes with a warning, though, that it is often crammed full of excitable girls pestering their parents to buy anything and everything; it’s very cramped and it’s hard to move around without knocking something off a stand, especially if you’re wearing a bag. The music is also of the bubblegum pop variety, and the shop assistants are unceasingly chirpy, which you may not be if you spend too long in there!

This is a fairly small branch of Claire’s Accesories, however they have managed to pack an awful lot into that space! There are hundreds of different types of earrings, from everyday studs to special dangly earrings for an evening out. They have a wide choice of hair accessories, including nhari ties, clips and hair bands, as well as gifts from the latest trends- for exaple they currently have a wide selection of goods from High School Musical.
They are great for buying christmas hats and jewellery, and also stock a fun range of accessories for Hen nights. They frequently have very good value sales, and often do offers such as 3 for 2 on earrings and hair accessories.
In addition they do ear piercing.
The staff are friendly and fun, and there is always a party atmosphere there! This is the perfect shop for buying presents for any girls of between the ages of around 6-11. A lovely little shop.
