Nice store , enjoy looking in here ,prices are good and selection is quite large, staff freindly and willing to help, although at busy times it can be difficult to locate staff.Immediatly next door is the Dunelm fabric store which again has a great selection of fabrics. The main store appears to have a varied selection in price and design.Cushions, lights ,dry artificial flowers can also be purchased here. They have a lovely kitchenware selection that has some great items that are slightly different to the normal range available in simular stores.Parking is normally okay but can be difficult at busy periods.

I don’t quite know how they manage it, but Dunelm offer some great bargains.

If you want to kit your house out with new soft furnishings and have a particularly tight budget, go to Dunelm. Admittedly, you have to be careful what you pick - some of the patterns and colour options on the cushions and curtain fabrics are lurid to say the least. Think Changing Rooms circa 1992. It always amazed me what Carol Smiley and Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen could get away with.

Anyway, I digress. Dunelm does, however, offer some classic patterns and neutral colours. They also offer great value light fittings too.

In essence, Dunelm is always worth a look.

Dunelm is a large, almost old fashioned, fabric store that holds a massive range of fabrics as well has having it’s own haberdashery corner.

The selection of fabrics is impressive & wide ranging, also competively priced, but I find that a lot of them feel quite old fashioned & lack contemporary style, although I can spend quite a lot of time browsing, there’s rarely anything that I wish to buy.

Likewise, with a lot of the table coverings, upholstry fabrics & curtains, while the quality is not in question, the colours & pattern styles appear twenty years out of date & fail to compete with the selections seen in department stores.

The haberdashery is well stocked with range of sewing & craft tools & supplies, it carries mainly brand name goods, which is to its favour, but while reasonably priced in comparision to other highstreet stores they fail to match online prices.
