The greatest chippy on gods green earth. I would quite happily have a bath in that curry sauce.

The only chippy I have ever been in that never has chips ready. Thats what I call a 5 star service

Without a doubt the best chippy in town, there isn't an english chippy for miles that comes close to this place, very helpful & friendly staff.

Can't beat good old Chipmunk. Chips & gravy & a can of Vimto. A bit of a bugger during peak times & u way 2 eat in. There's always some old lady sat with a coffee, taking up a 4 seater. It's still worth waiting 45 minutes 4 her 2 finish that cup of coffee.

Some of the best fish and chips in St Helens. Massive queues - but totally worth it.

regardless of which one you go in st helens you’re guaranteed a good eat. The one fault with them is the big queues full of people trying to get some deliciouses grub!! chips, peas, fish and curry is the unbeatable combo for me, very filling and very delicious. very highly reccomended from me :)

The Chipmunk in St Helens has always been a great chippy and it continues to do so. For over twenty years it has been serving excellent fish and chips that make your mouth water at the thought. As well as great fish and chips you can also get many other great meals and the service is quick and the staff are friendly and polite. If you want to dine in, then you can grab a table and have the fantastic food brought to you inside, and with the British weather this is sometimes a good option. Basically if you go you get great food, great service & great prices, what more could you ask for?!

Certainly the best place for a chippy tea! Great prices I think for the portions you get. Takeaway or eat in - though it is small eat in, its quick service and nice and clean, good value. Beats queuing up and getting stuck in traffic while your chips lose their heat.
My all time favourite meal is large sausage chip and mushy peas with loads of gravy … yum. The staff are very quick and pleasant so even though the queue might be large it is certainly worth the time to get yourself on the end of it – it does not take that long really to get served – and you will be rewarded with a lovely chippy meal.

Definitely the best chippy in St Helens! and somewhere you can sit in too! The food is always lovely, staff are great and you can’t beat the fish and chips! Definitely a place to visit if food is what your after.

Best chippy in St Helens In my opinion. Chips are always nice and fresh. Always well staffed so the queue is dealt with as quickly as possible, the service is always good and the girls work damned hard for their money.
Each branch is as good as the other and all food is good. They even offer 2 varieties of curry sauce. Reasonable prices and good food make Chipmunk a wise choice. Whether it’s a split and fish or chips, pudding and gravy you won’t be disappointed. My only bugbear is when I think I really fancy a chipmunk after work…I drive there and they are on a holiday shutdown! Now that’s what you call frustration cos the other chippy’s in St Helens just aren’t the same!

I love this fish and chips place, but for me i have to be in the mood for them ,couldnt go everyday like some people do.
The prices in here are very cheap, the menu consists of fish, pies, saugages, chips etc.
The only problem is because it is so popular it is always so packed the que is nearly coming out the door. The service is always great, and when it isnt too busy there is always plenty of room to sit down.
Not ideal if you have a pram.

The Chipmunk has the best fish and chips for miles around, possibly that I’ve ever had. The other branches at Fingerpost and on Boundary Road are just as good.
The specials they do are gorgeous. The food is lovely and very reasonable. The service is good. The only strange thing is that sometimes it seems to be closed at popular meal times.
