Ashvale Fish Restaurant

You wont find better fish and chips in Aberdeen. The Ashvale restaurant is great, nothing like a haddock supper with a cuppa and bread and butter!

The service is good and it is a great place to take the family. There is a private car park which is quite small but I have never had a problem getting parked.

The take away section is also very good.

Best place for fish and chips I’ve had. They get a lot of practice. :)

Very good fish and chips. Here and Haas’s are on a par. This is the sit down part next to the take away renound in Aberdeen. They claim to have given up entering fish and chips competitions because they kept winning! Great portions and always very tasty!

incredible fish and chips

I’ve been to many fish and chip shops and the ashvales always come out on top, whether it’s eating in or take away. They are quite expensive when it comes to take away and they don’t deliver - i know many people wish they did - but the quality of the fish and chips served can not be doubted. It is worth mentioning that they do serve other foods, mostly in batter but there is a variety to choose from that cater to most needs.

This ashvale in particular is very popular with local residents. A down side that i have to mention is that the restaurant in this one is quite small and if you’re looking for a peaceful meal this certainly isn’t the place to go. Food and quality is a definite thumbs up though.
