Brantano Footware

Lots to choose from but a lot of the kids shoes are cheaply made. Good for price but not quality. I have bought 2 pairs that broke after just a few days and when my own ladies boots that I bought from there broke after 2 weeks I was told by the store that it was due to exessive wear - I had used them just 3 times!
Good for some brands but stay clear of the cheap stuff.

like it very much got loads of shoes from here and some time i come down here rather then to clarks.the shoes are good form almost very good brand and often its cheaper then othere stores

Good quality shoes at cheap cheap prices. This is a great place to go when you are trying to kit the kids out with new shoes to go back to school with and you just know that they will need a new pair again in 6 months time because they’ve outgrown the ones you’ve only just bought.

The place is large and well laid out, with all of the various sizes that they do for each style neatly laid out in their boxes below each display. So you can browse around in your own time and try on a selection of sizes at your leisure to find the one that suits you.

Situated just outiside of the town in a retail park Brantano is a massive store selling all types of shoes. Mens, Womens and childs sold aswell as a range of smart, casual, sports and work footwear. brantano also has a wide range of sales throughout the year and you are certain to get a good deal here

I have bought a few bargains pairs of shoes and Boots from here for myself. They are good for hushpuppy makes of childrens shoes which are fitted and come with insoles etc and reasonably priced.
I like the fact the shoes are on display and you can easily try them on without waiting for an assistant. Its much better than trying to park in town as its situated just off the town centre and has plenty of parking.
My teenage loves the variety of styles, they have lots of high heels as well as flats, a good overall selection to choose from as well as the sports shoes as well.
They also sell wellies and bags and shoe care products. They also seem to have larger mens sizes over size 11 which i haven’t seen anywhere else.

This is in the retail park opposite B&Q and is a great place to start if you are looking for branded shoes at reasonable prices. They stock names such as Kickers, Nike, Adidas, Clarkes, La Coste and many many more. They are seperated men on right and the women on the left and in sections of sizes which is quite useful. What you see is all you get as they are all under the displayed in boxes.
