AMBER HOTEL Hilden/Düsseldorf

Directly bordering the pedestrian zone lies the Hotel Amber in Hilden. It has its own car park and a neighbouring basement garage (be aware - it closes at 22:00hrs!) The reception will give you a friendly welcome, the rooms are tidy, not too luxurious but you cannot expect that for the price. As the hotel is located at a busy thoroughfare it's worth paying attention not to get a room facing the street - the other rooms are relatively quiet. During the summer I missed an air con, the room only had one skylight - so there was the choice of either opening it and let the mosquitoes come in or leave it shut and perspire... the breakfast buffet was sufficient. It was good to be right in the pedestrian zone of Hilden and all the places for going out (pubs, small discos etc) were all in walking distance. Ideal for sales reps.
