Regis

Awful, hair colour went wrong, walked out looking like a skunk.
Not a warm welcoming salon.
Manager was downright rude, inpatient and aggresive.
Would not reccomend!!!

My daughter had her hair cut at Regis in Epsom recently and although we were both pleased with the cut and the hairdresser was very pleasant, I found the salon to be very dirty with hair on the floor and in the basins. There were only 2 hairdressers on duty and no one assigned to clean up. It really felt like it needed a thorough clean everywhere. Even the towels didn't look that clean. The door to the store room was left open which was not very inviting to look at. It was not a place I wanted to hang around in and there was no waiting area for mums to sit and read magazines. I certainly would not book to have my own hair cut there. At the price of 25GBP for a wash, cut and blow dry for my daughter I would have expected a nicer experience.

I used to take my daughter to this salon when she was little. You usually need an appointment but during less busy times you can go in and ask and they’ll try to accomodate you.

The stylists are very good with children. My daughter wanted a haircut like Dora the Explorer once and another time she wanted one like Stephanie in Lazytown. Both times the hairdresser took great pains to get it to exactly how she wanted it! The cut cost £10, much better than me trying my (clumsy) hand at it! She also kept up a constant natter with my daughter to keep her from getting bored and squirming.

I have been a couple of times too, the hairdressers are polite and attentive. They don’t try to fob you off with whatever they think is nice! A place I’d recommend.
