Huge modern rooms, service occasionally good, occasionally robotic and unsmiling. Suspect they see the weekend guests as second-class citizens. Bed rather small for the size of room.

I visited the Hilton, Canary Wharf last week and found their service impeccable.
The room was extremely comfortable, the facilities great and the staff service was everything you would expect from a top notch hotel.
I would highly recommend using the Hilton if in Canary Wharf, I am positive the service will not let you down.

This has been my favourite place to stay when I visited London (before I moved here) and had a plane to catch from City Airport, the hotel is a 3-minute walk from Canary Wharf tube station.
I always managed to get a good price via Expedia and very much recommend this hotel. It is easy to reach with the Jubilee line (or the DLR if you fancy braving Bank station with luggage!), the rooms and beds are huge for London standards and the bathrooms are quite roomy too. And, needless to say, everything is very clean.
You cannot open the windows in the rooms but the ventilation is very good so it has never been a problem - I am normally a fresh air freak but have always slept well.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and if you wish to sleep in, the cleaning staff will not bother you as long as you remember to hang out the 'do not disturb' sign.
During one stay breakfast was included and they have a very extensive buffet. If your brekkie is not in the price I recommend that you go elsewhere - they ask for a cheeky 19 pounds, you can get much cheaper food at any given cafe or restaurant in Canary Wharf.
There are 2 bottles of complementary water in the room and should you fancy a bite to eat the cheapest option is to buy some food at one of the CW supermarkets or go to one of the restaurants in the area.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is flying from City Airport as it is very easy to get there from the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel! One of the best I have stayed in. I’m not sure if we got an upgrade, but our room was really big! It was so modern and stylish too with lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The equipment (TV etc) is very new too and you get complimentary bottles of water in the room. There is a choice of Docklands Light Railway or tube from Canary Wharf into Central London, it takes about 20 minutes but it’s worth it to have a quiet hotel with such big rooms. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, but quite expensive. My advice would be to get dinner bed breakfasts rates if possible so you get your meal included. Staff were lovely and the whole experience could not be faulted.

As I have a Hilton loyalty card, I was upgraded in spite of the fact that I stayed using points rather than cash. I booked 2 rooms (one for my kids) and we all received free breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea and evening snacks and drinks. We were treated fantastically well and all for nothing! The rooms were spectacular and the location was just by the Docklands Light Railway. It is a bit of a trek to get into central London, but this is a great hotel if you can get a good deal, which we did. I would go back anytime!
