Yum - this is my favourite Turkish takeaway for their £5 lamb casserole. Glad they're getting the reviews they deserve

5 reviews of Beyti Restaurant in English
As the nights draw in and I start unpacking winter clothes, my thoughts turn to Beyti. I’ve tried quite a few of the Turkish restaurants in Dalston and Stokey, but this one, along with 19 Numara Bos Cirrik (on Stoke Newington Road), represents the best in the area.
To be honest, I’m pleased that it’s off the much publicised Dalston track- but you’ll still need to wait for a table most evenings. But wait you most definitely should. The food is amazing (I recommend the pirzola), and the service is warm, if a little brisk (there only every seems to be one guy taking orders). We’re ardent fans of this little place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a superb Turkish meal.

Superb Turkish restaurant in the heart of Turkish Cypriot Green Lanes. Surrounded by private men's clubs and other Turkish businesses this is the real thing, perfectly seasoned meat and fish barbecued in front of you and with served with mountains of fresh. The interior is cosy, the service is quick and friendly and if you manage to spend more than about £15 per head you will probably not be able to walk out of there unaided.

The huge £5 takeway chicken kebab... the trout... the massive meze with the amazingly light borek... (can you tell I'm hungry?)
I live locally and i love this place. Cheap as chips, lovely fresh simple grub and friendly staff. Your perfect local. Try the stews which change daily - lamb shank and stuffed peppers are my two faves. Eat in front of the spark-spitting grill if you're feeling brave!

Beyti is a great little Turkish cafe on Green Lanes near Stoke Newington Church Street. The menu is great for fish eaters but also has 5 very good vegetarian dishes. I know its only 5 things but they are lovely especially the mousaka. Food is consistently good, although some of the more unusual dishes are not always available. Small selection of alcoholic drinks. The only down side is that it is small so you sometimes can’t get a table
