Past Times

I have just mentioned this shop in another review. I really like the items they stock but I feel that ther are quite expensive, I purchased a keyring in a shop only a few minutes walk away from Past Times for £2 less than they were charging for it in here. That said they do sell some unique items that you may not be able to buy elsewhere. There christmas decorations are beautiful and very traditional, much nicer than the modern items that fill almost every other shop in Canterbury. They sell a great range of traditional childrens tous, fantastic as gifts for children who have all the modern toys! I purchased a very special Steif teddy for our son, it was on a special offer and only cost £28!!! I am sure this teddy would have been much more expensive from Hamley. I am very pleased with this extra specail present for christmas.

This is one of my favourite stores in Canterbury, it has a lovely array of gifts from different periods in time. There are gifts for all ages, it’s very good for finding gifts for elderly relatives who may appreciate something that reminds them of their youth.
They also stock some very nice decorations at Christmas.
The staff are very helpful and always wrap delicate items carefully.

Nice little shop. Always busy so hard to get around but nice to browse around and good window displays. Bargains to be had if you go at the right time. Staff helpful.
