Once recently I returned meat that was off before the sell by date and the staff member told me she doesn't buy her fresh meat out of her own employers store.
The fruit often has a short shelf life to the extent that I have witnessed mould already in the packs before out of date. I have reported this too on several occasions. I now only use the store for things I run out of or Lotteries. I shop at Sainsbury's, Asda or M&S now and my shopping is no more expensive but seems fresher for longer. On the plus side many of the staff are nice especially the girl at the self serve till (dark hair in her 40's). Also the thin guy behind the kiosk desk is very nice. When I win the Lotto they are on To a fab treat.

This large Morrisons store is integrated into the East Kilbride shopping complex (one of the largest indoor complexes in Europe) and has it’s own dedicated entrance to the exterior. It is extremely useful to visit if you are looking to squeeze in some grocery shopping alongwith your clothes shopping! The staff here are friendly and the entire Morrisons range is available (including electronics). Queues can get long at busy times, but normally are quite manageable. Note that it can be a bit of a walk to the other side of the shopping centre depending on where you park!

This is one of the best Morrisons and a very popular one but I always get a space. There is a good amount of parent and toddler and disabled spaces.
The trolleys are stored under cover which is good especially when it has been raining at least you get a dry trolley.
There is a kiosk so if you just want a paper it is handy rather than going through the shop but it is busy on a weekend.
The store is bright and airy with a good range of fruit, vegetables, fresh meat and frozen products. I like to go the electrical department and check out the games for the computers, consoles. There is a range of cds and dvds and prices are reasonable. This supermarket is like all others in what it sells but it has wide aisles and pleasant staff.
There is a cafe and a petrol station with competative rates for the petrol. A good supermarket all round and one of two morrisons in East Kilbride

Morrisons is a chain of supermarkets prevalent throughout the UK.
The store at Lindsayfield in East Kilbride was originally a Safeway store but when Morrisons bought Safeway out, it was rebranded.
I find this to be a particularly nice branch of Morrisons. It has a petrol station which I have used several times and been impressed with. I find Morrisons petrol prices to be very competitive.
The store has a large car park at the front and cash machines at the main entrance.
Morrisons stores are laid out like old fashioned markets which is something I personally like and when you enter you will find fresh fruit and veg on display, some of which is on a mock “barrell” to give the feeling of these markets.
The store has an excellent selection of groceries on offer and there are Butchers, Fishmongers and Pie departments, as well as the bakery.
Morrisons has a fairly decent non-food section offering homewares, kitchenware, CDs, DVDs and games.
Lastly this Morrisons has a great cafe which I have used several times and rate highly. I like the fact you order your hot food at Morrisons and they then cook it for you - there’s nothing on offer here that has been sitting on a hotplate for too long drying out!
This is an excellent supermarket in East Kilbride.
