Shireburn Arms is a quaint family all-in-one venue in the Ribble Valley, that serves quite a selection of traditional, and fairly decent, food. The building is supposedly centuries old, and so has some quirks as you’d expect, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again in it’s capacity as a B&B. Some of the drinks prices were a little high though.
I’d definitely recommend this as a day trip destination pub, at least once. The location is a massive bonus, as so serene and calm. Combined with a trip through the countryside it could be a lovely, romantic day out for any other couple or small family.
